Reviews for "Alma at the Sea" and Alma's Condo at Blue Tide
June 3, 2011 (Alma at the Sea): Goodtimes! Alma by the Sea is amazing! The house is in a great location and the community it is situated in has two pools for you to enjoy! Swanky decor really makes you think you're in Miami. Totally booking here again. :) Dino, ATL
May 26, 2011 (Alma's Condo at Blue Tide): Great Location with Nice Upgrades. Stayed in mid may and weather and water was beautiful and clear. The cleanest water and beaches I have ever seen in Florida. 15 minutes to the activities of Panama City, and 25 minutes from the great restaurants of Destin. Condo was updated very nicely, full kitchen was great (large grocery stores within 5 minutes). Pool and grounds were well taken care of. Bike/running trail along 30-a was great for sightseeing ( Lots of upscale exclusive homes and beach communities). Mike, Kentucky
May 24, 2011 (Alma at the Sea): My daughter and I stayed at "Alma at the Sea" over the weekend and had a wonderful stay. The house is very nice and well stocked. It is in a location that is convenient to the beach, shopping, and restaurants while being very quiet and laid back. Good place for any age as there is plenty to do. RAM, Cobb, GA.
April 26, 2011 (Alma at the Sea): This house was bright, had lots of room and we could walk to the beach from it. What more could you ask for?! We spent all day on the beach and then took advantage of everything the house had to offer. We made great meals, drank wine and coffee on the decks, the kids played on the internet and watched the tv in their room. (I watched some sports on the large high-def TV in the living room, but not TOO MUCH.) The beds were comfortable and the neighbors were quiet and friendly. The beaches were so beautiful that we didn't even use the pools right there, but others did and seemed to enjoy...my kids want waves though.
Santa Rosa Beach is a very quiet community with no major stores/hotels to take away from your peace, but Destin and all it's shopping Haven were only 10-15 minutes away by car.
We already want to plan another trip here. Oh...the owner had GREAT communication with us from start to finish and we thank her greatly for that as well. Naveh, Nashville, TN

April 16, 2011 (Alma at the Sea): The house work great for out family and my inlaws. The three bedrooms worked great and provided plenty of space everyone including our three teenage daughters. The neighborhood was very nice and the pools were within easy walking distance. We mostly walked to the beach but there was always parking if we need to haul beach equipment. David, Missouri
April 15, 2011 (Alma's Condo at Blue Tide): PERFECTION is the word to describe this unit. It was absolutely the perfect place to spend a
week with my husband. We could've shared the unit with our daughter if she hadn't wanted to be with her friends in Panama City Beach for spring break. The unit is compact but you want for nothing. The kitchen is well-stocked, the bedroom and living area comfortable and very livable. We enjoyed sitting on the patio listening and looking at the ocean. A short walk outside and down the steps puts you on the beach. No high rises to content with and very family oriented area. We only knew there were people in the upstairs condo when we saw them walk down the stairs to the beach. Quiet, private yet close to restaurants, walking trails and PCB if that's your interest. We will definitely be back soon! Also, the owner is a dream to work with. Can't wait to go again! TNTarheel, Nashville, TN

April 13, 2011 (Alma's Condo at Blue Tide): As they say in real estate - location, location and location. For this site, you have to also add the View, the View, the View. As you walk into the unit, you are just amazed by what you see - a view of the crystal blue ocean that seems to just consume you as you walk in. As you walk across the main area, you see a very modern kitchen, a large fancy TV, and a very comfortable couch. Then as you step right outside, you feel the warm grass on your toes and the panaramic view of the entire beach is unbeatable! All of this without climbing one set of stairs! Our daughter was on spring break as well and stayed at Panama City in a high rise on the beach, but she made the picture of our view her screen saver. When we ventured out, we kept saying why aren't we just staying home. Our view was better than anywhere else we visited. The unit is also very nice. Everything is as represented and new and decorated very tranquil. The layout maximizes the space and we were actually able to entertain very comfortably. My birthday was one of the nights and my daughter brought some of her friends for dinner. I made a very ecletric dinner and what as nice was that they had most all cookware and untentils I needed. We also used the grill outside the unit which was nice. The kids just flowed out to the grassy area and with four chairs and two mini tables outside in the patio, we had plenty of room and places to sit. What was the best part was that we had the option of walking down to the beach, or better yet we spent most of our time just sitting on the edge of the bluff on the grassy area. We had the view of the beach, we could feel the beautiful wind, and hear the waves crashing, yet not get sandy with close proximity to the kitchen and bathroom. Really what more can you ask for! The beach was very nice as well. While we were afraid of the aftermaths of the oil spill, we really didn't see anything so that made us feel better. This is truly just a beautiful beach. The beach is also very quite which is very nice. The location was also unbeatable. Just in the middle of everywhere. We rode our bikes everyday to Seaside (about 6 miles) for lunch and to Rosemary (2 miles) for breakfast to pick up donuts and coffee. We even ventured out and rode our bike to Panama City. It was about 15 miles to where our daugher stayed, but there are bike paths all the way there and we had no problems in our simple beach cruisers. The access from the beach is nice. I love the water hose to rinse our feet at the top of the stairs from the beach. We actually walked to our favorite bar on the beach at Seacrest(about 2 miles). We did find out that this unit, 6A, had one of the best views since some other lower units didn't have a good view due to the heights of the some of the bluff . So, we definitley will visit again and we would definitley recommend this unit anyday! Thanks to the owner of this property who was very nice to deal with and very responsive! What a View!!, Atlanta, Georgia
March 26, 2011 (Alma at the Sea): We had a wonderful time! The house was perfect for our large group (9). It was also casual and child friendly - we had 5 children from age 1-13. They had a great time in the bunk room - like a long slumber party! We loved the cute neighborhood and 2 pools. The weather was wonderful and we loved the location...short walk to the beach and short drive to Seaside. Cute St. Patrick's day parade! Katherine, Birmingham AL
May 13, 2010 (Alma at the Sea): The most wonderful family vacation came to an end. We loved to stay at the beautiful house and the gorgeous beaches that made us having the best family vacation we ever had. Martin and family, Germany
